“1 Day 1World” 2:00 – 3:00

 Yaquina Head Outstanding Natural Area

Our Oregon Master Naturalist cadre was in class during the 2:00 – 3:00 hour at the Yaquina Head Visitor Center in Newport, Oregon. We were with Cynthia D. Trowbridge, Ph.D, Senior Research Associate, Oregon Institute of Marine Biology.

Cynthia is a renowned marine biologist. She was an incredibly fascinating facilitator! I loved gaining a deeper understanding of the intertidal organisms we explored with her in the field earlier in the day.

    1. You are very welcome! The depth of knowledge the Oregon Master Naturalist Program coursework offered was very impressive. I’m happy to have blogging as a way to do some reflective thinking; and at the same time, share what I’ve learned. Hope others will be inspired to learn more about natural history in the process.
